Family Sundays Volunteer. Program Times: Sundays 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Volunteer needed to assist an education staff member with set-up, clean-up, and facilitation of art-making for Family Sundays. Family Sundays are a drop-in style program offering family-friendly activities throughout the Museum.

Volunteering Activities
What We Need
We look for several sets of skills and qualification with or without previous experience and qualifications. We don't seek out degrees, but rather passion. Volunteers would be required to assist with the local teachers teach some basic English to the age group 4-11 years old. They will be briefed about the same.
When & Who
What we Provide
The rooms will be basic, with Indian squat toilets and bucket showers. The rooms are quite spacious, neat and clean. Rooms will be on sharing basis, as we can accommodate only 2 people in one room. One can choose to stay at more comfortable rooms with an attached toilet and bathroom at an additional cost.
2 regular healthy vegetarian meal (lunch and dinner) will be provided in the local home stay. The meals consists of local food that is rice, chapati, daal, vegetables, and of course, tea. You also get a chance to eat some particular vegetables which grow naturally on higher altitudes depending on particular season. Also expect to be invited for lots of tea from local households. Nearby you will find shops where you can buy fruits, vegetables and others for the breakfast.

Experience all this with Naveen Godiyal the local guide and founder for Teach English volunteer program. Naveen has a wonderful experience of +10 years of working as a program coordinator for international organizations offering travel, voluntours and volunteering opportunities.
Participate in our teach English volunteer program from one week to 4 week, assist the local teachers in teaching basic English comprehension skills and explore various spiritual( places, temples, caves) and adventure spots (trek, national park, rafting, mountaineering). Through our programs our objective is to bring employment opportunities for the locals by offering home-stay and designed guided tours offered by the local community members who have been inhabiting the place for 1000 of years. The nature of our programs is social impact travel services.
